If you have ever visited The Making of Harry Potter at the Lavesden Warner Bros Studio Tour, you might have seen the little room dedicated to Harry Potter designers Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima, aka MinaLima. It features lots of props imagined by the two artists, such as acceptance letters, newspapers, cereal boxes or book covers. It is also at the Leavesden Studios that MinaLima had their headquarters during part of the movies filming.
In a recent interview, Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima said J.K. Rowling named it her favorite place , ‘the place where objects come to life’. Though the original article says it was her favorite place on Earth, MinaLima said it was actually her favorite place at the Leavesden Studios.
Props designed by the two artists are currently on exhibition at the Coningsby Gallery, until 19 December.
